You needed jeans in the wardrobe Maison Fauve. But your boss HUSSARD is much more than that. The high-waisted cut fits well at the hips, leaves the thigh comfortable and tightens around the ankle so that it doesn't pack but instead slims while still being comfortable. And sewn in a fabric more precious than jeans, it's definitely a strong piece that will be perfect with a little top slipped inside. And as usual, the Maison Fauve touch: the very pretty pleats that dress the pockets, and twist this iconic wardrobe.
Measurements
The boss ranks from 34 to 52, with a stature of 1m65;
Sewing margins are 1 cm and are included in your pattern.
Sewing level:
advanced. The technical point is to put the zip on a fly, and to put the belt on.
Choice of fabric :
The pattern is made for a fabric without elastane such as jeans, a suit type woollen fabric suitable for sewing trousers, a cotton twill, a jacquard (be careful that the back is soft). If you want to sew the garment in a fabric with a little elastane, do not exceed 2% elastane or elastic fibre in the composition and sew the waist below the size chosen for a fabric without elastane.
Supplies :
For a fabric width of 140 :
-SIZE 34-40 requires 150 cm of fabric
-SIZE 42-46 you need 180 cm of fabric
-SIZE 48-52 you need 210 cm of fabric
- the pocket bags are cut from a 30x70 cm lining fabric
- thermo adhesive adapted to your choice of fabric to thermo glue the belts
-18 cm non-detachable zip
-a 15 to 20 mm button
- a commercially available (or handmade) bias yardage, the quantity of which is to be chosen from the waist size of the grading table
There are many topstitched areas on your pants, for a "jean" style do not hesitate to use a thread that contrasts (often in brown, bronze to yellow tones for a blue cotton jeans fabric), and widen your stitch a little for the topstitching on the side of the garment, it's prettier.
